This ward boasts state-of-the-art equipment and expertise of experienced interventional cardiologists and is thus regarded as one of the country’s centers of excellence. There are 5 adult angiography rooms in this ward, over 15322 treatment procedures via over 20 interventional modalities are performed annually. This ward is also equipped with an intravascular ultrasound echocardiography device, which is unique in the country. This ward offers services such as cardiovascular angiography, peripheral vessel angiography, brain angiography, angioplasty, valvuloplasty, Amplatzer patent ductus arteriosus occlusion, Amplatzer atrial septal defect occlusion, Amplatzer ventricular septal defect occlusion, cardiac biopsy, pulmonary thromboendarterectomy, pericardial synthesis, endovascular abdominal aneurysm repair, transcatheter aortic valve implantation, cardiac fluoroscopy, and pacemaker implantation.
