This ward offers inpatient and outpatient services to those with neurological problems. These services include hospitalization, neuroelectrical diagnostic test, electromyography, nerve conduction velocity test, encephalography, evoked potential test, transcranial color-coded sonography, and neurointerventional procedures such as diagnostic cerebral and spinal angiography, angioplasty and stent implantation or embolectomy in acute brain infarction, angioplasty and stent implantation in intracranial stenosis, angioplasty and stent implantation in extracranial stenosis or dissection (vertebral or carotid), treatment of cranial or spinal arteriovenous malformations/fistulae with Onyx or Glue injection, cerebral aneurysm coiling or stenting, embolization of cerebral tumors, functional tests such as the Wada Test, inferior petrosal sinus sampling in hypophysis tumors, invasive treatment of cerebral venous sinus thrombosis, occlusion of carotid-cavernous fistulae by balloons or coils, and treatment of cerebrovascular accidents in children.
