The Center has 3 Cardiac Surgery ICUs: Men’s ICU, Women’s ICU, and Pediatric ICU. In total, there are 9 fully-equipped units featuring a state-of-the-art cardiovascular and respiratory monitoring system. These units offer services such as pre and postoperative care for closed and open heart surgery and pacemaker implantation. The newly inaugurated ICU A features 36 beds in 8 separate units and is regarded as one of the largest ICUs not only in the country but also in the Middle East. The Pediatric ICU receives neonates and children with congenital cardiac diseases and is as such a reference center for its counterparts across the country.
